"I see the continuance of the Jeff Hardy legal issue as positive news for Jeff. I'm not an attorney nor do I play one on TV but one can make an argument that if the authorities thought that they had an overwhelmingly strong case that they would not be interested in postponing the proceedings. I strongly feel that Jeff Hardy is NOT a drug trafficker whatsoever and that he will be vindicated. I am also not unbiased in this matter as I am a Jeff Hardy fan and have been since signing Matt and Jeff to their first WWE contracts.
Upon leaving WWE for a hiatus, Jeff Hardy was as popular as any WWE superstar that I can recall in quite some time. "

AREA: Well-known wrestler to appear in criminal court on Nov. 4
CARTHAGE — The professional wrestler and Moore County native who was arrested in September and charged with possessing several illegal drugs including cocaine, prescription pills and anabolic steroids will appear before the Moore County District Court on Nov. 4, according to published reports.
The hearing will determine if a crime has been committed. The case will then be passed on to a grand jury, who would review the evidence and decide whether or not to criminally indict Hardy on all charges.
Hardy was charged with trafficking in opium, two counts of possession with intent to sell or deliver a Schedule III controlled substance, maintaining a dwelling for drugs, possession of cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Hardy, 32, a native of Cameron, has worked off and on for the well-known World Wrestling Entertainment since he was a teenager and with the help of his brother Matt, ran a local promotion known as OMEGA in the late 1990s.

Hey guys i didnt have time to sort out a rewind this week so its a match from 2006
Nitro and Hardy started off against each other. A Lita distraction allowed Nitro to take control early, but Hardy came right back and hit a swinging double boot and a double legged drop to the groin. Carlito tagged in and the crowd got behind him. He hit a nice dropkick for a near fall. Nitro forced Carlito into the corner, though, allowing Orton to tag in and take control for a second. Carlito came back quickly with a clothesline and a back elbow. Another “Cena Sucks” chant erupted, as Edge tagged and regained control for the heels. Carlito again came back quickly with a springboard moonsault that caught nothing but air, which he followed smoothly with a hurricanrana. Cena tagged in to the delight of some and ire of others, but Edge scattered away and tagged Orton.
Cena took control with a fisherman’s suplex. Edge provided a distraction soon after, allowing Orton to hit a suplex and tag in Nitro. Johnny, covered in paint, continued the assault on the former champ. Cena fought back and tagged Carlito, who hit a suplex. Dueling chants for Cena erupted, as one half chanted in his favor and the other against him. Orton, meanwhile, tagged back in and hit a dropkick on Carlito. He proceeded to lock in a rear choke, but Carlito came right back with a jumping clothesline. The faces did some heel like tactics in their corner before Jeff Hardy tagged and hit an awkward clothesline that was supposed to send Orton over the top rope. It didn’t and Hardy hit a flying forearm. He then hit the clothesline over the top that he’d intended before. Hardy flew over the top with a high risk move, but botched it when his foot caught the bottom of the top rope. The botched move separated the two teams as we got a dreaded mid-match commercial break. Back from the break, Edge had Hardy in a half Boston Crab. Hardy tried to escape and get to his corner, but Nitro tagged in a beat him to the corner. The dueling Cena chants continued, as Nitro worked over Hardy’s leg. Hardy countered out and took Nitro down with a head scissor.
Orton tagged in, though, and continued the assault on Hardy’s injured leg. Edge tagged in and did more of the same. He also got in a crowd taunt, allowing Hardy to get back in the match with the Whisper in the Wind. Carlito and Orton made tags, but Carlito took control. Unfortunately for CCC, it was short-lived, as when he went for the springboard back elbow, Edge pulled down the bottom rope and caused Carlito to careening down to the floor. Edge tagged back in and worked over Carlito’s leg, continuing to make this quite the mat-based encounter. Nitro came back in and connected on several mounted punches. He followed with a neckbreaker. The dueling chants, by the way, continued, as half the crowd chanted for him to go to Smackdown. Nitro locked in a rear choke. Carlito made it to his feet and connected on a springboard back elbow attempt. He then made the tag to Cena, who cleaned house, hit the Throwback on Nitro, and the Prototype spinning backdrop on Edge. Orton tried for the RKO, but Carlito caught him with the Back Cracker. Hardy followed with a Swanton Bomb on the Legend Killer. Cena proceeded to get Edge in FU position, only for Nitro to interfere. Edge went to the outside, but the heels still go FU’ed, as Nitro took Cena’s finisher. The finish came when Cena made Nitro tap to the STFU.
